Rick's Road Trip Sun Nov 9 to Tues Nov 11

Sun: Visited Sedona, AZ, Jerome and Prescott
Drove thru Oak Creek Canyon on the way to Sedona. At the top of the canyon, the wind was blowing and it was freezing . Once down in the canyon, it was pretty nice. Very colorful with all of the red rock. Sedona is basically a tourist town. As you can see from the photos, if you like colorful senic views, this is the place to be. From Sedona I traveled thru Jerome. Jerome is a unique little mountain side town. The road was not very wide and there wasn't any parking as the town seemed full of other tourists. So I took only a few photos. Ended the day in Prescott in the rain. After dark the rain turned to snow. In the a.m. used my credit card to scrape the ice off the windows of my car. How exciting! Mon drove to Laughlin with the intention of winning enough $$ to pay for my trip. You can guess how that went. But the room was only $25 and I did leave with an extra $100. Tues: Home. Trip Over. Back to Reality.
